September 22, 2012

Taken in front of the headquarters of the 101st Infantry Batallion, this photo illustrates the hypocrisy of the military in publicly denouncing war but committing human rights violations in its name. This includes the well-loved priest Pops Tentorio, an anti-mining advocate gunned down by paramilitary groups in Arakan Valley, North Cotabato.
