Dear NUJP Colleagues,

The International Federation of Journalists Asia Pacific Office would like to express our deepest sympathy for the unfortunate passing of Alexander Martin Remollino.

The IFJ Asia Pacific would like to extend our support towards Alex’s family, friends and colleagues in the media. We understand his work as a journalist, poet and activist touched the lives of many.

The International Federation of Journalists is certain that Alex’s dedication to democracy and freedom of expression will be carried on in the work of his colleagues at the NUJP and by the broader activist community in the Philippines.

Please pass on our sympathy to Alex’s family in this moment of their terrible loss.
